Account Executive

Summary:

Vertikal6 is looking for a Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an aggressive self-starter who is highly technical with sales abilities. Superior follow through and follow up is an absolute must. You will report to and work directly with the COO to continually develop and refine the Vertikal6 product and service offerings. You will work alongside sales professionals to design, propose and deliver technical solutions to client audiences of both executives and IT staff.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Design technical business solutions including networking, software, workflow and process
    Present solutions to clients to show high level business value to executives as well as technical expertise and detail to IT staffs
  • Work with Vertikal6 sales team to close business
  • Create detailed scopes of work and bills of materials
  • Craft professional quality written proposals and detailed drawings and specifications
  • Respond to RFPs from multiple sources in a wide variety of non-standard formats
  • Work with clients to generate system requirements and specifications documents for software / database projects and pm engineers to deliver finished software
  • Perform a project engineering / project management role on larger engagements
  • Deliver consulting and implementation services to clients on high touch and / or non-standard solutions
  • Perform network and systems assessments
  • Display both confidence and flexibility while making recommendations to clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Keep up with the latest trends and technologies
  • Build and execute test scenarios in a lab environment and document results
  • Continually evaluate and evolve the Vertikal6 client offerings
  • Travel to conferences, vendor shows and events across the country when needed
  • Assist inside sales support and outside sales in creating quotes and proposals
  • Work with engineering, sales and sales support teams to continually improve solutions, process and communications

IT Sales Associate

We’re looking for two sales associates who have the desire to learn, collaborate, and work as part of our team to support our clients in elevating their technology. Your Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Generate leads and contacting leads provided to you
  • Update prospect and client data in our software
  • Work internally with technical resources to develop solutions and proposals

  • Quote and respond to new client inquiries
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of our technology solutions and service offerings.
  • Continually work with our senior consultants and clients to conduct regular business reviews, uncovering new opportunities for additional IT solutions
  • Identify, develop and apply sales strategies to grow market share
  • Maintain long-term mutually beneficial customer relationships
  • Outside sales calls to prospects
  • Conduct meetings with prospects and existing clients to demonstrate the features and benefits of our solutions
  • Partner with our marketing team to conduct prospecting campaigns
