Senior Sales Partner (Outside Sales)

We’re looking for a Senior Sales Partner to join our team—someone who thrives in a consultative, relationship-driven environment and knows how to meet clients where they are while helping them evolve.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business, building strategic relationships, and delivering tailored technology solutions across our managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, and AI-driven offerings. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to both clients and partners, bringing clarity to complex environments and helping organizations move forward with confidence.

What You’ll Do
Drive New Business & Growth
- Prospect, identify, and close new opportunities across target markets through networking, referrals, strategic outreach, and partner alignment
- Build and execute a territory strategy focused on sustainable growth and long-term relationship development
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets
Act as a Trusted Advisor
- Develop deep relationships with key stakeholders—from technical teams to the C-suite
- Understand each client’s business, challenges, and level of operational maturity to deliver relevant, right-sized solutions
- Position Vertikal6 as a long-term partner, not just a provider
Deliver Clarity in Complex Environments
- Translate complex IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and AI solutions into clear business outcomes
- Help clients navigate decisions with confidence by simplifying technical concepts and aligning them to growth objectives
- Bring forward innovative solutions, including AI, that enhance efficiency and visibility
Lead the Full Sales Lifecycle
- Own the process from initial engagement through discovery, solution design, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Collaborate closely with engineering, service delivery, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes
- Maintain strong pipeline discipline and accurate forecasting within CRMs (AutoTask & HubSpot)
Build & Enable Strategic Partnerships
- Develop and nurture relationships with channel partners, resellers, and technology alliances
- Identify and execute joint selling opportunities that expand reach and impact
- Lead regular partner cadence sessions to review pipeline, refine positioning, and strengthen go-to-market effectiveness
- Support partner enablement through training, collaboration, and shared success
Create a Seamless Client Experience
- Ensure alignment between sales, technical teams, and delivery to create a consistent and high-quality client journey
- Identify opportunities for expansion, cross-sell, and long-term account growth

Experience & Background
- 5–10 years of experience in enterprise sales, managed services, IT consulting, or technology solutions
- Proven success in new business development and territory growth
- Track record of engaging and closing at the executive (C-suite) level
- Experience working with or alongside channel partners and alliances is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Autotask, HubSpot) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
Location & Travel
This is a field-based role focused on new client acquisition within key regional markets. Flexibility to engage both in-person and remotely depending on client needs.

Senior Enterprise Network Engineer
Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer to design and oversee our distributed, virtualized network infrastructure supporting mission-critical systems.
This role requires exceptional expertise in high-availability architectures, virtualization technologies, and fault-tolerant network design to ensure continuous operation of critical business services across multiple locations. The Senior Enterprise Network Architect will lead the strategic design, deployment, and management of enterprise network solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Network Design and Planning:
- Develop and maintain the organization’s enterprise network architecture blueprint
- Evaluate business needs to determine appropriate network solutions that align with strategic objectives
- Plan for scalability and future growth, incorporating emerging technologies and trends
Implementation and Oversight:
- Lead the deployment of network infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery
- Manage and configure complex network systems, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud networking solutions
- Oversee the integration of security protocols and tools into network architecture to protect against cyber threats
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor network performance and reliability, implementing enhancements as needed
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, providing high-level support to IT teams
- Conduct capacity planning to ensure infrastructure meets current and future demands
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with IT leadership, application developers, and system administrators to ensure seamless system integration
- Act as a technical advisor to IT teams and stakeholders, guiding them on best practices and technical standards
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior network engineers and architects
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
- Creation of Visio network diagrams
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering, design, and architecture
- Advanced certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or equivalent
- Proficiency in networking technologies, protocols, and tools (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, firewalls, load balancers)
- Strong experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Deep understanding of network security principles and tools
- Dell, Hyper-V, and F5 load balancing background and knowledge a must
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to assess enterprise application networks, providing guidance on recommendations, design, and remediation according to vendor best practices
- Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV)
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles
